AIESEC Cultural Night 09

Interns from around the world gathered at our Pusat Kegiatan Pelajar to display and enlighten us about their cultures, food, and countries. They were under two pBoX-es (Projects Based on Exchange), namely Cultural Understanding Through Exchange (CUTE) and the HIV/AIDS “Are You Positive” projects. Displays of every countries’ cultures were the main highlights. I got to visit places like Vietnam, Germany, Slovenia, Egypt, Hong Kong and the UK by just listening to the Interns. A pity the South Koreans AIESECers had left early. The much anticipated dances couldn’t be carried out due to the fasting prayers and since this was the last day the Interns were going to be in UUM, I took the liberty to snap a few photos with them :)

Stephanie Vo from Ho Chin Minh City, Vietnam and Putriana, Indonesia.

I feel SLOVENIA :)

Mustaffa and Salma from Egypt. They taught me “How to Walk Like an Egyptian”

She’s wearing an ao-dais, a traditional Vietnamese costume and by the way, she speaks Cantonese.

Dylan from the UK and a bunch of AIESECers

Nope, she’s from Melaka not Vietnam :)
